The new Nokia 3 September 2017 OTA update is now rolling out to devices globally. This system update brings the latest Google security patch to the budget-friendly Nokia 3 Android phone. Earlier this month, this same September 2017 security update was released for the Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and Nokia 8. And now, the last of Nokia phones have also received the update before this month ended. And not to forget, Nokia 3 also received the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OTA update earlier this month.
HMD Global has been keeping their promise really well about rolling out regular Android security updates for their devices. And they will do this for the next two years for every Nokia Android phone. This new security update, Nokia 3 September 2017, is about 83MB in size. And as per the changelog, the only thing included in this update is the new Google Android security patch. We have pulled out the update.zip file from the Nokia 3 (TA-1032).
