HMD Global would be looking to increase, if not maintain, the amount of Nokia smartphone releases this year and to solidify the argument, the brand has informed the public to hope for an “awesome” MWC — Mobile World Congress — event. The MWC is an annual event which takes place in Barcelona. Most brands use this event to kick-start their smartphone releases. HMD Global have already announced Nokia 6 (2018) but at MWC, we hope to see a global launch. Furthermore, there are rumors of other incoming smartphones as well.
After apologizing for social updates, Juho Sarvikas, CPO at HMD Global stated to fans that they should “expect it (MWC 2018) to be awesome” and rightly so. There have been a few leaks building up to MWC – 4G variant of the Nokia 3310, a physical QWERTY keyboard phone and more. We are excited to see what HMD Global has in stock for us this year!
What to Expect at MWC 2018 from Nokia:
Sorry for radio silence. Been super busy planning #MWC2018 . Please expect it to be awesome 😎

The phone’s that instantly come to mind are Nokia 6 (2018), Nokia 7 and Nokia 9. Some of these mentioned smartphones have been released already but only in a specific region so Global launch is imminent. Further, we also expect to see Nokia 3310 with 4G radio capabilities. Lastly, there is an expectation of Android One device as the Nokia 1 but the certainty for this release is quite low.
