Download Nokia 6 September 2017 Security System Update

After an initial release, the Nokia 6 September 2017 roll out has begun once again. This latest system update brings the Google security patch for the month of September. Nokia 5 was the first Android phone by HMD Global to receive this month’s Google security update. Later that week, Android 7.1.1 was released for Nokia 3 and we have this update.

Nokia 6 September 2017 security system update was earlier reported to be around 160MB in size, but the one we received now is of different size. Like all the past system updates, we were able to pull the OTA file from Nokia 6 and have uploaded it online for anyone to download and install. There are no other additions or changes in this security update, as per the official changelog. Android Oreo is still a few months away, so that is out of the way for now.
