This smartphone is the latest and greatest being offered by HMD Global right now and we are glad the brand has released it in Pakistan as well. The key focus with the Nokia 8 remains to be premium hardware and a great software experience. Read ahead for more details on the Nokia 8 and the launch event itself.

Nokia Android smartphones have captured the market by a huge storm. Part of that success belongs to the already existing brand image of Nokia and the other part falls to HMD Global’s right decisions when making their smartphones. The Nokia 8, along with other Nokia series smartphones, features one of the most stock User Experiences available outside of the Nexus and Pixel family. This means, the software is bloat free and runs quite efficiently as it is exactly how Google intends it to be.

The launch event, coincidentally, met up with HMD Global’s first year anniversary as a brand. This speaks a great deal about them. In just one year, they have been able to pump out some amazing budget smartphones and with the newly announced Nokia 8, they hope to accomplish just that in the flagship market. Further, it was discussed, how Nokia 8 is crafted out of a single aluminium piece which gives it rigidity and strength. To make Nokia 8 distinct, the single aluminium piece then goes through a detailed paint and polish process which gives it a glistening shine. Nokia 8 would be available in the following colors: Tempered Blue, Polished Blue, Steel, Polished Copper.

HMD Global prides itself with having three firsts in the Nokia 8. The primary being ZEISS optics being features on the Nokia 8. Secondary is the Bothie mode and dual-sight live streaming which allows you to capture video from both front and rear cameras. Lastly, it is OZO spatial audio. This is probably one of the most underrated features of the Nokia 8. The OZO audio technology gives the smartphone an unparalleled audio recording capability along with features such as audio focusing. These functions were pretty much unheard of in smartphones before the Nokia 8.
